We did it! The final FODAR show had a widly enthusiastic audience and the numbers weren't too bad either. Before the show we had a short class, watched Randy take off his wool pants and don shorts, then said good-bye to Andrea Nann and Mocean Dance. There were notes from Pam...
To which we listened attentively...
It was still hot and humid as we trooped across to the old Post Office to put on costumes and make-up. Susan had to be sewn into her polyester unspeakably hot dress by Grace. The men had their eyes done by Pamela. Melissa got a make-up lesson too. Then we wait for AJ's 1 hour, 1/2 hour, 15 minute, and 5 minute calls before we marched back across to the theatre. Grace, in her little black dress, gave the best and most coherent speech of the afternoon, thanking our sponsors and introducing the chief angel. And then it was over, and we were bowing, saying good-bye to the foot-stomping Coleman-Lemieux, to Ben and his seemingly boneless arms and his mom, Christine Kroker.
